In all of the years I have been overseas, the Neuschwastein Castle has been on my bucket list. It is the castle that inspired the Disney castle. It has always intrigued me because it is different than most of the castles I've visited throughout England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. So, I made sure we hit it while we were staying in Garmisch. It was a pretty hot day and it was incredibly busy. We decided to take the horse carriage up the hill because of Joziah's arm and then the rest of us walked back down. It was under construction and too busy for us to even want to go inside but it was definitely an amazing sight.
