Halloween

This was the first year we took Bella trick or treating. Everyone goes on base in the new housing area and it is ZOO! So, we had this awesome plan to meet the Engels at the BX early so we could get a parking place and then hit the pavement as soon as trick-or-treating was officially open. Well, of course, it didn't go quite as planned. Little Joziah didn't make it out because mommy bundled him up so well that he was covered in sweat before we even started AND it was feeding time right at the beginning. So, he stayed in the car while we went on our way. Then, to top it all off, Bella was D-O-N-E after about 10 houses.   At least we got some cute pictures!

Happy 5th Birthday Bella Boo!

Every year on Bella's birthday I say the same thing, "I can't believe she is ____ years old." This year was no different. I REALLY can't believe my baby turned 5 this year. She continues to amaze me with her beauty (inside and out), her intelligence, her sense of humor, her excitement about things both big and small and just the way she is so well-rounded.

This year we decided to do a low-key party.  She wanted to have it at a local play place, which worked our perfectly.   She wanted it to have a theme, though---RAPUNZEL/TANGLED.  So, I did a few cute things to fit to the theme, but otherwise, it was pretty stress free.  And the kids had a blast!

Bella received a package from Aunty Sissy!

A Rapunzel backpack!  (Yep, my sister loves a theme, too!)

Matching Rapunzel lunch bag with place for water bottle.

Ready for school!

We took cupcakes into her school on the day before her birthday. They sang Happy Birthday.

Birthday cupcakes! (No, I did not make these)

Joziah got to come, too!

Rapunzel nightgown from mommy and daddy.

Rapunzel PJ's, too

Even a Rapunzel Jacket with her name embroidered on it

Pascal!

Rapunzel T-shirt

The day of the party...Bella in her special Rapunzel shirt and bow and Joziah in his Pascal onesie

Pascal hat!

I made these Pascal blowouts for the party

Two special books from Grammy Debbie (Krisa's mom)

Ms. Stacy got Bella her first Friends Lego set.  We had fun putting it together.  Bella likes Legos but mommy LOVES them.

The Evans got Bella the coolest gift- it's called Passports and it comes monthly.  In her first shipment, she got a suitcase.....

......and a map......

.....and of course a passport.  Each month there are activities to do as you follow two fictitious kids on their adventure around the world. It has an online component, too.  Next month they go to Brazil!
