TEN MONTHS OLD

Two days before the little one turned 10 months he CRAWLED for the first time and now he is
EVERYWHERE!  He started with a side leg crawl that was hilarious.  At ten months, he loves kiwi fruit, blueberries, applesauce, pulling himself up on everything (and then crying because he can't get down), puzzles, trying to get the big turquoise box of wipes, trying to type on the laptop, trying to get the wires of the computer, chewing on his sister's jump rope (this is not encouraged), throwing his head back and giggling, snorting, clicking with his tongue, feeding himself, pat-a-cake, watching his sister do anything, Baby Einstein music and DVDs, splashing in the bath, being tickled, standing assisted, babbling, banging his sippy cup on the high chair, looking at books, and holding his own bottle.

He absolutely loathes being redirected from what he wants (as do most of us), waiting for feeding time, getting his diaper changed,  turkey, getting his hair combed, getting his nose cleaned, getting his ears cleaned and being stationary.

He is the happiest baby and such a joy to be around!  I know I sound redundant, but we really were blessed with two amazing kids.

Summer Splashin

Every summer I find myself wondering what happened to the pool from the previous year and then I am scrambling to find one at the stores because I have waited too long to purchase one. So, this year, I decided to purchase one early and luckily so, because the hot weather came early. Although he loves baths, Joziah was very apprehensive when he first sat down in the water. But then he loved playing with the balls! It was the perfect depth for him.

Wobbly Tooth

Bella had her first WOBBLY (that's British for "loose") tooth on June 16th. It was loose for a long time before it finally came out one day on the way home from St. Mary's on the bus. She was incredibly afraid to put it under her pillow because she did not want the fairy coming into her room while she was asleep. So we kept it in a little bag for a long time.  You'll have to stay tuned to find out what eventually happened to it!
Loose tooth (can't you tell?)

And it's finally out!
