Snakes and Ladders

We had heard of this cool play place/science exploration center in Ipswich (50 minutes away) called Snakes and Ladders. But because it was a little drive, we never went there! Finally, one weekend we decided to give it try. And we called up one of Bella's good friends to join us. The girls had a fabulous time and Joziah LOVED it!

The science part had some great hands-on activities

This was a little exhibit on forensic science

They had to investigate a "crime scene"

And choose between suspects

They had to measure the shoe print left at the scene

Meanwhile, Einstein was stacking squares

The suspect also left a little vomit at the scene

When they put the vomit in a test tube they were testing it for starch to match it to what the suspects ate for dinner.  It was pretty cool!

Home Sweet Home

We had been looking for bigger house for 8 months and so we were unbelievably ecstatic to stumble upon a little slice of Heaven last March. We almost didn't go see it because we thought it was too far away and didn't want to commute. But, as it turned out, there were two ways into it and the way we were permitted to go came out right in front of the Base.  So, when we walked into the living area, we didn't even need to look at the rest.  We were sold....the open space was the perfect for the kiddos. Anyhoo, here are some photos my mama took.
