Passing the Time

Quarantine started to run everyone nuts. The fun part was collecting funny memes. These spoke to me the most during that time.

The Easter Redo

As I lay in bed with what I thought was COVID, all I could think about was all the things my kids were missing out on during Easter. I love Easter. Its the celebrations of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It marks the beginning of all things new and the triumph over death. So, once I was feeling better, I did some of our Easter traditions with the kids.

We decorated Easter egg cookies

Then, we did a science experiment with Peeps.  We used various liquids to see what would happen to the Peeps over time in the various liquids, like vinegar, soy sauce, cranberry juice, coke, water, mustard, BBQ sauce, etc.

And of course, Resurrection Bread.

Jesus is no longer in the tomb, He has risen!
