The orthopedic surgeon gave us the thumbs up to go on our trip because there was nothing we could do until we got back. Obviously, we would have to keep the sling tight and make sure he didn't do anything to fall on it. So, we packed up the car and headed out on our adventure!
We headed out to the Chunnel. We got across the English Channel and checked into a hotel on the other side in Calais, France. Well, Joziah was a mess. He was scared to even walk and he was screaming in pain once we got to our room. Then, about 2 am, the fire alarm went off and stayed on for a long time. We got so irritated we packed up the car and just drove towards our first destination, Garmish, Germany!

| We arrived at the beautiful Edelwiess Resort in the late afternoon. |
| Inside the foyer of the resort |
| We headed to the restaurant for some grub. (and a few fun pics) |
| Then we walked around the grounds of the resort. Poor guy was so disheveled and scared to walk. |
| Trying to manage a smile. |
| When we woke up, we spent the first day walking around the cute town or Garmisch enjoying the Bavarian beauty. |
| I thought these trees were interesting |
| Curtis took the kids back early to the hotel because Joziah was DONE walking. Mike and I walked back and ducked into this little hole in the wall bakery to try some yummy baked goods. |
