Christmas Break

After Christmas, we had some more fun around the house.
We turned our table into a Ping Pong table, thanks to Papa!

This is the fiercest 2 year old Ping Pong player ever!

Then, Bella had a series of play dates....and on this day, I got to attend a high fashion show!

Then, the girls invited me to their zoo.  They sorted the animals.........

........and gave me a list to make sure I saw all of the creatures during my visit.

We had the Rowlands over, too!

Mine!!!!!

Joziah is going through a typical 2 1/2 year old phase where he is learning to share and loves to yell, "MINE!" or "My _______".   Well, the other night he took it to a whole other level.   He was chasing Bella around the house whining.

Me- "What is the problem?"

Bella- "I got a booger out of his nose!"

Joziah- "MY booger!"

Me- "Joziah, do you want Bella to give it back?"

Joziah- "Yeah".

So Bella handed it back just as any loving sister would and I started laughing so hard, then I said, "Well you might as well put it back in your nose!"

And so he tried to shove it up there!

Good times!

Christmas Day

Christmas Day is so heavenly....I love being with my family, hanging in our jammies and just relaxing.
Santa Claus filled our stockings

J wanted to take a ride first.

WOAH!

Santa brought tents for the kids

Bella got her wish from Santa....a guitar!

He had to get these out right away

Since the darkness hit, Bella has been a little scared of her new room.  So, we have been trying all sorts of things to help her get over her fear.  I got this neat canvas made for her new room.

Bella wanted a baseball cap so I found this crazy one and got it for her as a joke. She's like, "Really Mom?"

The Night Before Christmas Eve and Christmas Eve

The night before Christmas Eve we went over to the Engels for some dinner and a gift exchange with the kids. It was so lovely as both of her parents were visiting. We got to rock PJ's.

Then, on Christmas Eve morning, we had them over for a breakfast of fruit and scrummy casseroles.

I looked up some games the kids could play.  It was hard finding some that fit ages 1-7.  First up: Fishing for Candy Canes.

Before Krisa's dad got here he was teasing about playing Beer Pong so one day when Curt and I were out we found a Beer Pong set and surprised him as a joke.  Well, the boys insisted on playing a few rounds.

Game #2:  Candy Unwrap...here you just wrap up a ton of candy with layers of cling film and tape.  Each kids unrolls a layer and keeps the candy.   Its amazing how long it kept them occupied.

SUGAR!!!!!!!!!!

Game #3: Cup Knockdown...tie a Christmas bulb to your booty and try to knock down the cups.

Big sis showing the way

Joziah just put it in his hand

And then knocked them down with his other hand

So proud!

After the Engels left, the kids got to open one gift.  Joziah got an electric quad bike from Bella

He loved it!

Bella got a new stroller for her dolls

Then, it was back into our Christmas Eve PJ's from Auntie Sissy

That' a wrap
