Third Grade, Here She Comes!

The most interesting this about getting ready for 3rd grade was the shift in Bella's style. She insisted on having Nike Jordan's (which she paid for with her own money). All the frilly dresses and matching outfits I have dressed her in for most of her life are completely loathed! I write about this because it is so similar to how I was and when I talk to other moms, it seems to be universal.....not the actual style but the behavior. Its the age where they get REALLY picky and roll their eyes when you pick out stuff you think is cute. It just makes me chuckle. S

Seriously, though, as she continues to grow and come into her own, I marvel at her intellect, kindness and sense of humor.  She is such a loving daughter, sister, cousin, niece, and grandchild.  We are so blessed.
We were ecstatic that she got to loop with Ms. Lacey.

Summer Randomness

Jet Lag!  The struggle is real!

Jet lag strikes again.  We were going to Tesco and Joziah fell asleep in the car.  So, I did what any mom would do....went to the home aisle, grabbed a pillow and a towel and made my baby a bed in the cart so we could get on with the grocery shopping!

Ready, Set, Score! Joziah is FOUR!

I say it every August 23rd.... I can't believe my BABY is ____!!  This year was no exception.   Turning 4 meant that he would be attending British School.  He still's such a little guy but with the biggest personality!   I can't imagine our lives before Joziah.  He definitely completed our family.  This particular birthday theme:  BASKETBALL.
We spent some time constructing his gift
Ta-Da....POP-A-SHOT.   When he woke up on his birthday it was assembled.  He spent the morning  shooting some hoops!
