Texas, Y'all

We made it to Texas! It was a fairly uneventful flight and we were ready for our next adventure. We had fun getting used to all things Texas and being back in the states after such a long time.  In the first month, I think we hit every restaurant imaginable, thinking we had to make up for lost time.  Ha!

A little Pei Wei

Fun times with the Monster High App

Bella finally got a phone so she was in selfie mode!

Slurpees!

Sonic slashes!

Joziah wanted to try a cheeseburger at every restaurant when we got here.

Found out local FroYo!

We decided to go cowboy boot shopping, but had no luck finding something we liked that was comfortable and in our price range.

Bella even tried on some western wear, but decided it just wasn't her.

Yes Haw!

Since we haven't found a house to sign up for school, we discovered a local playground to pass the time!

Bella lasted 10 minutes and then it was too hot for her!

First haircut in Texas!

Another way to spend our time:  The base library

Goodbye, England

After 16 amazing years, the time came to say goodbye to England. We loaded up our bags into the taxi and headed to a London Hotel for our last night.  I think we were all emotionally exhausted from saying goodbye to so many wonderful people, but we looked forward to our next adventure.  Watch out Texas, the Briggs are a'coming!
We always pack light.....ha!

Our last meal was at our favorite restaurant of all time- Nandos!

On our way to the airport

Ready!

Saying Goodbye

We spent the last days in England saying goodbye. DeVasha came by and gave Bella an adorable t-shirt and a friendship bracelet. We stopped by Louie's house, too and he gave Joziah an adorable teddy bear.  We sure are going to miss all of our wonderful friends.
Bella gave Devasha this kangaroo so they could have matching ones.

Last day of school in England

We cashed out all of our British change.
