Halloween

As it turns out, we just aren't that into Halloween.   This year I borrowed an outfit for Joziah but he didn't even go trick or treating so we just took some photos to mark the event.  We didn't even buy candy this year.  And to top it off, Bella went trick or treating with the Engels...the rest of us just hung out at the house.

And then, of course, there was the birthday celebration the next day.

What is this you ask?  Well, Bella and I watched a ton of Cupcake Wars and at the end of the show they have to build a display to show off their cupcakes.  While I was baking her birthday cupcakes, Bella went into her playroom and made this display for her birthday cupcakes.....I was not happy that she wrote the number 6 on her desk bench but I was delighted by her creativity!

The next day was Bella's real bday so we got with the Engels and went to our favorite restaurant, Nando's.

This year Bella wanted a location birthday party again, which was GREAT! It helped me continue down the road of "normal" birthday parties and farther away from my over the top creations. Don't get me wrong, I still love planning a great party but with another kid, I have no time for the stress involved. Anyhoo, we still had a little theme....My Little Pony. We went to Curve Motion where there is a play place and roller rink all in one. It was super fun and easy peasy.
