It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

With the arrival of J-man, we decided we did not want to travel this Christmas so that meant that we could dive into Christmas decorating. We started in Bella's room with her own tree.

Disney Princess Baubles

Proud of her little tree

We put it up so she could see it from bed. We added a star at the top later.

On the first night she had it, she fell asleep while looking at the lights.

Bella was hard at work on her letter to Santa.

Our favorite part...the Manger....the reason for the Season.

I found the cutest ornaments about 2 years ago and I finally got to use them.  They are a set of very colorful baubles that tell the story of Jesus.  Each one has scripture on it leading up to the birth of Jesus.  I just love them.

I then made some colorful "candies" out of styrofoam circles, tissue, colored transparent paper and ribbon.

Bella started cleaning right away in case Santa was watching.

Chillin with the Engels

We finally made it out to the Engel's new house for a relaxing evening of Thai takeout and hanging out. Mr. Brad is the best entertainment. Poor dude does not get a break when Bella is around.

Tucker was backing up through the door.

No wonder Tucker spilled all over that shirt....it's pretty nasty!  Ha!

T-day

Thanksgiving found us in England again celebrating at the Haganders. It was a great time once again.  Lots of good food and friends!

We brought over the Karaoke machine but I forgot the power cord (duhh!) so the kids improvised by hooking up the mics to an amp.

"Dude, can I have a bite of your giraffe?"
