Bella's New Ride

Bella Boo has been growing like a weed, too. She outgrew her bike this summer so we got her a new one.

Little Man's a Big Guy- Jbot's 1st Birthday!

It's hard to believe that our little man turned one already! Time really flew by. We, of course, celebrated in style with a ROBOT-THEMED bash. All of our close friends attended and it was extra special having Uncle Timmy and Papa here to celebrate.

Joziah got this recorder from the Rowlands.  At first he couldn't play it....

Then he figured it out

Not without a ton of spit on himself, though.

"Oh, let's see if I can play it this way!"

Joziah got a tricycle from us.

I spent a million hours constructing this backdrop of monthly pictures and it took way too long to put up, only to be taken down in a flash.  But, it did add a little cuteness to the dessert buffet.



The dessert buffet was pretty low-key but there were a few goodies.  We had cupcakes, wires and cables (licorice),choco-bots (white chocolate robots), techno taffy, and the little chocolate bead candies that made up Joziah's name.

 I always have a parent game.  This time it was like Scattergories.  I had robot words going down the page and then the categories were toddler/kid themed.  For instance, "Something you might shout at your kid" starting with the letter R.  The winner got a cute little robot I made from various candies.

We rented soft play just like Bella's first birthday.  Joziah was a little apprehensive with it because it wasn't walking yet.

We had everyone make up a robot name.  Joziah's was J-bot!

Party bags!! Inside the big kids bags were Robot tattoos, a slinky, robot arm lollipops, robot erasers, robot stickers, and playdough.  The babies got a robot themed taggy blanket and robot sippy cup or toy.

For food we had this awesome Fruitbot constructed by Uncle Timmy, Computer Chips (chips),  Nuts and Bolts (cheerios and nuts), Prototype Pizza, Robo-Wings (chicken wings), Cyber Sandwiches, Bionic Bagels, and Micro Mac and Cheese.

The cupcakes were fun and scrumptious, as always....made by Cake, Love and Crossbones.  We had cookies and cream, strawberry, chocolate chip and vanilla.
