First Day of 1st Grade

Our sweet little lady started first grade this year. I marvel at the who she is becoming (at the old age of 6). She's smart, inquisitive, kind, well-mannered, articulate, silly, athletic, creative, imaginative, musical, thoughtful and generous. She is the most wonderful daughter and sister we could have ever prayed for. She brings so much joy to our lives. Happy first day, Bella Briggs!

Summer '15: Caution: Entering the Terrible Twos

I can't believe my BABY is two. Where did time go? So cliche, I know, but really! This kid is growing up too fast. On his actual birthday we had the Engels over for a little celebration!  It was extra special, too, because Nana was visiting.

He couldn't quite reach the pedals, so sissy came to the rescue.

Tucker gave the birthday boy a push, too.

Summer '15: Sherwood Forest Robin Hood Festival

Going to the Robin Hood Festival in Sherwood Forest has always been on my "England To-Do" list so when Krisa mentioned us going, I was super excited. I have to admit that Bella wasn't as ecstatic but she ended up having a blast.

We started by getting the kids swords.........we realized after we picked out the ones with the handles that they were PIRATE swords.  Oooops.  Thank goodness our kids didn't notice.

We were trying to get everyone in, but stopped at Joziah because it didn't quite work.

And he's off again.......if you are a faithful follower of our blog, you will notice that this is the umpteenth picture we have of Joziah wandering around.  Thank goodness he has his trusty PIRATE sword.
