Halloween 2015

It really is hit or miss for us for Halloween. We have never really been a family who gets into it for a bunch of reasons. We definitely don't believe or allow our children to dress up in anything evil.  But, this year was the Engels last year so we decided to coordinate.   Trick or treating  was a blast. It was super warm and the Engels came over to have pizza beforehand.  Then, we set out to mix with the masses of crowds on base.

Joziah LOVED the whole concept of walking up and getting free candy

He just couldn't believe people put free candy in!

He's ready for a taste test

"Hurry up, dad, unwrap that thing!"

Taking a break to eat

One house had a huge commercial pop corn popper.  It was brillant!

Pumpkin Carving

We had plenty of time to do our pumpkins this year since we made it to the Pumpkin Patch the first week in October. It was a nice family activity.

Joziah used stickers

Joziah was so mesmerized by the lights in the jack-o-lantern

Pumpkin Patch

Ah, the Pumpkin Patch....our annual fall tradition..oh wait, we didn't go last year...um, well, we were able to make it the first weekend of October this year and it was a good time. We are not big into Halloween, but pumpkins remind me more of the fall harvest than anything else.
Bella is a great big sis...not only to Joziah but to her "other brothers from another mother"....the Engel boys.

Somebody found something more fun than a round orange sphere.

Tucker found his first one...he picked out a lot this year!

Daddy got his perfect one!

Score!

Helping Spencer find his perfect pumpkin

Teamwork

Another perfect find

Joziah was mad because he couldn't lift it by himself

This year they stacked tons of hay bales and the kids got to climb on them

They also had these big orange bouncers

We set off in the Corn Maze

Look at these three go

They had a pumpkin bouncy castle, too

This boy loves to count!   (Mommy is so proud)
