Curtis and I have always been very thoughtful at picking out our kids' names. When we came across the name Arabella, we both knew right away that we wanted that name. And then when we saw that it meant, "Full of prayer" and "Beautiful", it was confirmed. The funny thing is that I swore I would never, ever, ever, ever let anyone shorten it and call her Bella. Well, look how long that lasted!
Fast forward 5 years.....it was hard to pick a boy's name. Curtis wanted something that would make the initials CJ so he could call him that. I looked and looked for C names but couldn't find one that spoke to me. After rounds and rounds of name searching we finally decided on Joziah Curtis, so he got part of his wish. Joziah means "God helps" and it is derived from Josiah who was a favored King in the Old Testament.
Funny, though, he is rarely called "Joziah". He has so many nicknames that I don't think he knows his own name. He has been called, JC, J-man, Jazoo-zoo, Ja-zam, Little man, Little fella, Sweet boy and Buddy.
Poor guy.
