This year a special package arrived on December 1st. Inside was a letter from Santa and a small elf. Now, I know many families who have elves during Christmas time that report naughty behavior to Santa. Well, Santa wanted this elf to teach Bella and Joziah about the forgiveness of Jesus so he taught a few of those lessons while he was here.

| She named him Jingle Heimer |
| Bella started crying when I read the part in the letter that said that Jingle Heimer is a little naughty himself at night and needed help learning about Jesus. She said, "Is he going to mess with me while I sleep?" |
| She was pretty worried about it even when we reassured her that Santa wouldn't send an elf that would hurt her. Curtis added, "Don't worry, if Jingle Heimer does anything, I will kick him out of the house." Daddy's reassurance and a friendly note from Jingle Heimer the following night helped her actually enjoy the little dude. |
| "What is this thing?" |
| Jingle Heimer left jokes every night, too. Mommy was not excited to clean up after his antics. |
| Into the Frosted Flakes |
| Budding artist |
| Trapeze Artist |
| Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee |
| Mommy was not happy after this one, either. He used Joziah's special fingernail scissors to make snowflakes! |
| Fishing for goldfish and cheerios |
| Playing Mexican Train Dominoes |
Unfortunately, about half way through, he got touched and lost his magic. So, he sat under the tree until he was picked up by Santa on Christmas Eve. Bella did end up loving him and wants him to visit next year. We shall see what Santa thinks!
