COVID-19 took the world by storm. Everyone's story during this time will be different depending on what part of the world you live in. For us, things started getting a little bit worrisome on March 11th.
On March 10th, we were so excited to scoop up Virgil, Ni Ni, EJ, Jannis, Aunty Mary and Bertie Lee. Everyone came for our niece, Jessica's graduation from Air Force Basic Training. The travel advisories were just beginning but most everything was still open. Then, the dreaded phone call and FB posts came----Jessica was in tears- Air Force Basic Training Graduation would only be live streamed! No visitors AT ALL.
After the initial shock and sadness, we were able to turn it into a lovely week of just enjoying each other's company. We watched the graduation on the TV, ate tons of good food and just hung out. Everyone left on that Saturday, just in time to get home before everything shut down.
Another bonus was on Thursday, the 12th, Uncle Mikey got here from Vegas to stay until his job started back up again.

We played Girls versus Boys in Family Feud on the Wii and by the some stroke of luck, the boys won!
