After all of these years doing this blog, one thing never changed---- its purpose. My entries have gotten shorter and even a bit boring, but all I've ever wanted for this blog was for my kids to look back on it and know how much they were loved. We look through our blog books on occassion and are reminded of all of our wonderful memories as a family. I try to capture day to day things that help tell the story of who we are as a family and how my kids have navigated life at different ages.

Joziah still loves coming into our bed to sleep once in awhile. On this day, he was trying on my sleeping mask.

One thing I try desperately to instill in my children is a heart of thanksgiving and gratefulness. My sister works at Nintendo and there is a kind woman there who loves to send Joziah Nintendo swag. So, on this day, he was drawing her a picture of her dog for a thank you card.

Joziah grew up watching Sid the Science Kid and he is fascinated with rainbows so I took this pic for him.

When I was pregnant with Joziah, I had a gender reveal party at which I solicited name ideas. My principal suggested Bubba and when I saw this in Walmart, I chuckled.
