Book Advent

The tradition continues.....count down to Christmas with books. We open one every night and read it as a family. There are two things that I love about this tradition that have transpired over the years: 1. Joziah is reading so well now that we can actually all read just about any book we unwrap. 2. The kids have developed a list of their favorites and they try to see if they can pick them out by the shape of the wrapped book. But, I keep them on their toes because I add 2-3 new ones each year. We have a very big collection to choose from now. Sometimes I wrap more than 25 because they get so into it!
