Windsor

We decided to use our two day pass to Legoland on Saturday and Monday. So on Sunday, we headed to Windsor Castle. When we lived down in West Ruislip and then Slough, we went to Windsor all the time. But it had been a minute since we had been and the Engels never had, so we made sure to fit it into our itinerary.   I was reminded of its beauty from the very beginning.

One of the things not mentioned was that Krisa broke her foot.  So at Legoland and Windsor, she got a wheelchair.  The kids enjoyed hijacking it.  Also, it was amazing how well we were treated with a person in a wheelchair.  Its nice to know that there are places that take care of those who are unable to walk.

Windsor is one of the castles that the Royals still use.  This is the Queen's area when she comes.  She is usually here for Easter.
