Seattle Here We Come

We took Bella on her first airplane ride when she was about 8 months old. However, we waited until Joziah was almost 2 to make the trek back home. For some reason, it just didn't appeal to us to take the wild man on a plane until the big trip home for Summer. We spent 3 weeks in Seattle and 1 week in Columbia, SC. I am not gonna lie...I was a little nervous about how he was going to act but all in all he ended up being a great traveler. Don't get me wrong, it's never easy traveling with kids...especially a toddler, but it was way better than I anticipated.

On the first leg to Seattle he was happy as a clam as long as he could pace the aisle and play with his cars on everyone's armrests. In fact, the only time he screamed was when the captain put on the fasten seat belt sign and he had to be strapped in. I'm pretty sure his opposition of the seat belt sign was heard all the way up in the cockpit. Other than that, he had a good old time. At one point he had two of flight attendants on the floor of the galley playing cars with him. They were even building ramps for him from various things in the cupboard.  It was precious.  He ended up finally falling asleep with only 1.5 hours left to go.
His favorite airport pastime was wheeling around Bella's suitcase

Once in Seattle we went to play on PaPa's playground

Joziah loves slides as much as Bella did at this age.
