The Griswold German Vacation

We didn't go back to the States this summer nor did we do a lot of spectacular traveling. However, what we did do was fun and memorable. For starters, Curtis had some training in July at Ramstein so we decided to tag along and make a little ROAD TRIP out of it.   We stopped in Brugge (Belgium) on the way down and stopped in Ghent (Belgium)on the way home.
30 seconds in the car and Bella already has a snack

Once we got to the Eurotunnel we realized we still needed some things to be "legal" on mainland Europe. Curtis is buying beam stickers so our car lights will be in compliance. It's such a ripoff!
Hanging out in the terminal at the Eurotunnel

Sister and brother love

We got into Brugge in the evening and took a little walk around while looking for a kid friendly restaurant.

Just a little modeling in front of the fountain while we wait for dinner

Jman just loves to ride

We woke up and had to get some change for the parking meter so we HAD to buy something at the bakery.

Our girl just loves to run in open wide spaces

We took a horse carriage ride around the city

Joziah never looks at the camera...didn't he get the memo that he was born into a picture taking family?

A trip to Belgium is not complete without a trip to the Chocolate Shoppe.  The problem was that the one we really wanted to go to was not open on Sunday which happened to be the day we were there. But, this place was delicious.
