Joziah's Nursery

Well, I have to be honest and report that the nursery did not turn out as expected and I ran into so many mishaps along the way that I was so disappointed. The room is still decent but it is nothing like a envisioned.

Mishap #1- When we finally started, we got the furniture from the garage where it had been delivered a few months prior and upon opening it noticed it was not the color I thought it was!!  It was supposed to be a distressed chocolate but it had a orange tone to it!  And I couldn't return it because it was too late.

Mishap #2-  The changing pad did not fit the changing table. So, I had to research and find the ONE kind that fit this odd shaped changing table.

Mishap #3- The kind of red paint we bought had to have 4 coats and so it ended up being a darker shade than anticipated and thus didn't match the red of the changing pad cover, valance, or bedding.

Mishap #4- The furniture was so big it hardly fit into the room.

Mishap #5- I had a cute red wagon and sock monkey jack in the box and blocks to put on a shelf, but there was no room.

Mishap #6- The custom made bumper didn't fit all the way around the crib so I had to improvise.
